Juvenile Managers/Trainers Upcoming Courses:

The juvenile coaches wish to remind you that training for under 8 & 10 continues on Thursday evenings in Doohamlet Hall from 6.30-7.30pm, all parents, guardians, volunteers and anyone interested in helping out are more than welcome (maybe there are some of you out there who are or are hoping to pursue a career or college qualification in Sport-this looks great on CV that you train juveniles!!) why not donate one hour per week (out of 168)!! to help out our young stars. Anyone who does help out are encouraged to complete a Foundation Level course which includes child protection, this course is soon to be made compulsory and is filling up fast! There are 2 available via Paul O Connor, dates are 17/18 Feb& 23/24 March, Friday nights are 7pm-10pm& Sat 9.30pm-3.30pm, it’s only one weekend!

Many of our current juvenile coaches have completed this course, just ask and they will tell you all you all about them.

Rith 2012

This is a national run that will be coming through the county on Saturday the 10th March as part of Seachtain na Gaelige.CLG nationally are supporting this initiative.Rith will be coming into Castleblayney on Saturday March 10th at 6pm and running to Muineachan via the old Blayney road. School resource packets have gone out to every school in the county, these include posters and activities that all relate to the Rith initiative.  The run will come into Baile Mhuineachain at 730 with a lap around the town and finish at the courthouse with a welcome from the County Council Cathaoirleach
