Congratulations and best wishes to Dick Clerkin who got married to Alison Coyle last week. They are presently on their honeymoon and all our members wish them all the best for the future.

SCOTSHOUSE:

A Happy and Prosperous New Year to one and all.

Bingo: On Tuesday evening in the Scotshouse Community Centre at 9.00pm.  There was a good attendance just before Christmas, so lets come again and enjoy the evening.

Dancing: Starts on 16th January 2012 so have a rest for another week.

ICA Meeting: Scotshouse Guild will be meeting on Wednesday 11th January at 8.30pm in the Community Centre. New members also welcome.

Music: With Pat McCabe in the Scotshouse Community Centre on Thursday evening at 7.30pm.

Many thanks to our clergy, Canon Helene Steed, Fr Cathal and Fr Corrigan for all their work for all of us during the Christmas season.  They all deserve a rest now.

Congratulations to Dick Clerkin who married Alison Coyle in St. Macartans Cathedral Monaghan on Wednesday 28th December 2011. The reception was held in the Slieve Russell Hotel Ballyconnell. A great evening was had by all.  We wish Dick and Alison every happiness for the future.

Sympathy: To the family of Teresa Malloy (Cavany) who was buried in Scotshouse recently. Her sons Brian, Hughie and Patrick together with their family circle and friends from Scotshouse and Bunnoe will miss her greatly.  Rev FR Edwin McCallion a family friend,together with Rev Fr Cahill were in attendance.  Teresa will be greatly missed in the village, please pray for her and her family at this sad time.
