Hurling Development Squads
Monaghan U15 Hurling Development Squad travelled to Aughrim, Wicklow on Sunday 12th May. This group took in the Christy Ring Cup between Wicklow and Sligo and then play Wicklow U15 Development Squad.
Monaghan battled hard throughout this game, but Wicklow proved to be too strong and ran out convincing winners.
This team next competitive game is on Saturday 6th July and home to Armagh. Training and challenge games will continue over the next month or so..
Football Development Squads
This Saturday both Monaghan’s U15 & U16 Football squads are in action.
- U15 Squad travel to Silverbridge, and play Armagh (2 games) at 12:15pm. Last day out, this squad played Down in 2 games, in Cloghan. We lost one and drew the other game.
- U16 Squad travels to Owenbeg in Derry to play Derrys U16 Squad. This squad travelled to Dublin for their first competitive game, and lost narrowly 1-7 to 1-9.
