Monaghan v Mayo U15 Hurling Match Report

Monaghan U15 Hurling Development Squad got their Hibernian Cup competition up and running on Saturday past. Monaghan’s first group game was against Mayo and this game was held in Monaghan’s Centre of Excellence, Cloghan. In a very competitive and close game and despite Monaghan finishing strongly with a couple of goals, we were defeated by 1 point. Despite missing a number of key players, Monaghan’s management were very happy with the overall team performance against a strong Mayo side.

The remaining two group games see Monaghan travel to Wicklow on Saturday 18th of May & the final group game sees us at home to Armagh on Saturday 6th of July.

Football Development Squads

This weekend sees our football development squads up and running in their respective competitions.

In the U15s, Monaghan have entered two teams, this weekend sees us taking on Down in both games. These games will be held in Monaghan’s Centre of Excellence Cloghan on Saturday 4th May at 10.30am.

Our U16s also have thier first outing this weekend. One team travel to play Dublin in TU Blanchardstown for a 12.30pm throw in this Saturday 4th May.
