Corduff Gaels: Fixtures & Results:

Greenfield Foods Senior Championship:  Championship fever hit Corduff last week with the first round meeting of last year’s Intermediate Champions against last year’s Senior Champions, in other words Corduff V Ballybay. This was in fact the first ever Senior Championship match Corduff actually played in Corduff and it didn’t disappoint. Ballybay got off to a flying start going 0-5 to 0-1 up but when Corduff settled into the game it became a cagey affair with the teams level 5 times in all. At halftime it was a draw Corduff 1-5 to Ballybay 0-8 and again at the final whistle the sides were all square Corduff 2-8 Ballybay 0-14 with both sides sharing the points! Attention now switches to this Sunday as Corduff travel to Truagh for Round 2 of The Greenfield Foods Senior Championship. Throw-in is @ 2 pm. Once again good luck to the team, Seamus & his backroom team. Hope to see good support from Corduff at that game.

They got points for running Frank McNally’s hill in a set time or other accepted hills for hill repeats, running or walking 5km / 10 km, attending gym sessions, pitch sessions and recovery sessions like ice baths! Super achievement Fiona!!
