Drumhowan Club Notes 06.07.2023

Seniors: The Seniors drew to Tyholland on Friday last with a final score of 1-13 to 2-10. Next game is V Oram on Saturday 8th July in Blackhill at 7pm. We have qualified for a home semi final on the last week of July.Championship Draw: The JFC draw took place on Monday evening and we were drawn in Group A  with Blackhill, Currin, Eire Og and Aghabog. First game of the Championship will take place on the weekend of 12th August we have a bye that weekend.Reserves: The reserves are away to Eire Og on Tuesday 18th July at 8pm.U17s: The U17s games start Tuesday next, 18th July V Rockcorry at 6.30 in Drumhowan. Best of luck to players and management.U15s: The U15s lost to Emerald Sarsfields on Thursday last. They face Corduff on Thursday 13th at 7.30pm in Drumhowan.U13s & U11s: Please see WhatsApp group for details on training and fixtures.U9s: Well done to our U9s are due to play in Blackhill this Saturday morning. Please see WhatsApp group for start time.Academy & Cubs: Many thanks to everyone who helped out at the Academy and Cubs on Saturday. The children are really showing great improvements each week! Training continues Saturday at 9.30am.Well Done: Congratulations to the Monaghan Senior team who have secured their place in the All Ireland Semi Final after a nail-biting game V Armagh last weekend. They face Dublin in the Semi next Saturday in Croke Park at 5.30pm. Make sure to get out the flags and bunting. Tickets available online or in Centra or SuperValu.Good Luck: It will be a historic day in Armagh this Sunday as Monaghan Minors take on Derry in the All Ireland Final at 1pm. Best of luck to players and management especially our own Tom Doherty. Be sure to support the team.Family BBQ: Our family BBQ has been rescheduled to the 29th July.Stewards & Help Needed: We host an U18 final at 7.30pm this Thursday evening and two U13 Finals at 12pm and 2pm on Saturday. All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone who helped out at the ladies finals last Saturday.Friends of Drumhowan: We would like to thank everyone who has paid their FOD this year there has been a great response so far. But anyone who wants to be in with a chance to get All lreland tickets has to be a fully paid up member and will also be included in the Christmas draw can give money to any committee member.GRMA.
