Toome Club Notes 18.05.2023

U11’s: The under 11’s are out in action this Saturday in an away fixture to Aghabog, game starts at 11:00am all players to be at the field for 10:30am.

Intermediate League: A steady first half performance was not backed up in the second half on Saturday last when Toome faced the Faughs in Blayney, discipline and minor mistakes cost the visitors and a result for the home side. Toome have another tough fixture with a home fixture against Carrickmacross Emmets on Sunday 28^th May at 2:00pm. Please be sure to spread the word and come along to show your support. #BeThe16thMan.

Reserve Championship: The Reserves are out in action this Friday 19^th May as they face Carrickmacross in the Crawley Cup in St Victors Park at 7:30pm. Please be sure to spread the word and come along to show your support. #BeThe16thMan.

Juvenile Training: The juveniles (4 – 11 years) continue to develop their skills with training each Tuesday evening at 6:30pm on the main field, see you all there.

Please spread the word to your friends, family, neighbours and relations, new children are always very welcome. Thanks to all our coaches/mentors who give their time so generously.

U7’s: Our under 7’s are working hard on the training field and enjoying their sessions, these young players are in a Blitz this Saturday 20^th May in Éire Og all players to be at the field for 9:30am.

Volunteers: If you would like to help the Club in any way at all, please get in touch with either Club Chairperson – Gene Cumiskey on 087 918 6629 or Club Secretary – Ryan McMahon on 087 743 1970. We really need the help in many areas, lining of the field, match day assistance, car parking, photography, announcing, live score updates, cleaners, servers, turnstile operators, score board operator, etc. If it is at all possible, that you can give to give the Club a few hours here and there please get in touch, we need your help especially if we are to succeed, this is all our Club and remember many hands make light work.

Development Works: Eoghan Donaghy and Mark McMahon continue working on the concrete plinth. If you can give any time at all it would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations: The Club and all our members would like to extend huge congratulations on two recent engagements, Eoghan Donaghy got engaged to Shauna Boylan and Shane Moore got Engaged to Niamh Callaghan, wishing both couples a lifetime of happiness.
