Carey is the reigning Leinster Champion, with spectators reporting that both players could have won the match. I shows that with more practise and a bit of luck, these boys are very close to the top players in the country. Well done boys.

County Championships. We have entered 29 juveniles into the county championships, 24 boys and 5 girls. All names are on the notice board behind the glass alley. We will be running extra coaching for these players on Saturday and Sunday evenings. We may be contacting coaches to help out for the few weeks until the championships. Over U12’s is Christopher Mc Kenna(PJ), U13 Eamon Todd, U14 Michael Mc Carron, U15 Peadar Mc Cluskey, U16 John Treanor and over the girls Declan Mc Kenna, see notice board for coaching times that have been allocated.

Gold Gloves. Well done to Christopher Mc Kenna (PJ) on reaching the Semi-final of the Mens C Section in St.Pauls two weekends ago, hard luck on not making the final.

Ulster Club. The Ulster Club “B” game fixed for last week was only played last night, full report next week.

Mono Team League. By now all captains should have notified that all Thursday night games have been switched to Friday evenings so no excuses for games not being finished, all scores must be kept and points written into the scoreboard at each alley.

Juveniles. All coaches should have their teams up and running by now we ask all players to make a special effort to make all the sessions. We also ask all players to book the alley and practise in your own time all the coaches will be doing is showing the shots its up to you to practise them. Any weekend practise that juveniles do we ask that they be supervised by an adult, thank you. All teams and times are on the notice board behind the glass alley. We have several sub coaches all numbers also on the sheet. New cabinet up for holding balls etc, the keys are on the bunch of keys for the lights at Owenie Joes.

All membership must be paid by Sunday the 20th of November, all adults must pay Frank only and all coaches must ask each juvenile on their coloured team if they have paid or not and when they pay make sure to write their name in on the sheets in the cabinet under their year of birth and give all monies to Frank.
