Lotto The Lotto Jackpot next week will be 8,500 euro for any lucky player that can match all four numbers.

The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 7, 9, 12 and 19. The Jackpot was not won. The following four players collected fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip draw…Eimear Owens, Ballycartlan, Pat and Kathleen Freeman, Magheracloone, Michael Jones, Magheracloone and Seamus Dardis, c/o Fay’s, Drumconrath.

Senior League. The playing season for the senior panel came to an end on Saturday evening last when Clontibret claimed the victory in the league semi-final. In wet and windy conditions, Clontibret took their opportunities at vital stages of the game and finished victorious on a score of eleven points to nine. With all their games completed, the panel will take a break from football until the new year. Many of the members will take up other pursuits to keep in peak condition during the close season and will be fit and ready for 2012.

Minor Final. Blackhill is the venue for the eagerly awaited minor final against Killanny on Saturday evening. Both teams are very aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition and both will go into this final with a high level of confidence. The game is timed to start at 4.00pm and the Magheracloone team is hopeful that a large number of fans will travel to support them in their attempt to bring some silverware back to the club. All in the club join in wishing good luck to this young panel for the big game.

Monthly Meeting. The October monthly meeting will be held in the clubrooms on Wednesday 19^th at 8.30. All members are welcome to attend.

Sympathy. The chairman and members of the club wish to extend sympathy to the Burns family on the recent death of Ned Burns. May he rest in peace.
