In association with the National Coaching and Games Development and the Ulster Coaching and Games Development Committee an Activity Day for players who are 12 years of age (born 2008) has been organised for Monaghan and three (3) other counties from Ulster on Friday 17th April from 9:30am to 11:00pm in Croke Park. The purpose of the initiative is to give our young players an opportunity to play our national games at GAA headquarters.

For Football

Football – 29 clubs to nominate 2 players each  = 58 players. This will mean that we will have 6 teams of 9 a side and rotating subs, playing on 3 pitches.

Each Club to nominate 2 x U-12 players.

These players must to be born in 2008.

For Hurling 

Hurling – 7 clubs to nominate 4 players each = 28 players = 3 teams (9 a side), playing on 1 pitch.

Each club to nominate 4 U-12 Players.

These players have to be born in 2008.

CONSENT FORM COMPLETED  & SENT BACK TO Michael Keane ON OR BEFORE Thursday 9th April.

The Monaghan Coaching and Games Committee encourage clubs to support this event. For the players chosen, this will be a great personal memory in later years.

We need to have received the parental/guardian consent forms back to us on or by the date below. Consent forms can be obtained from your club coaching officer, or by contacting Michael Keane in the Monaghan GAA Coaching Office, by email on gda.monaghan@gaa.ie.
