Reserve League:

Our last match in the RFL D3 against Kileevan is pencilled in for Sunday 11th September, this is a must win game to have any hope of progressing to the knockout stages. Our Intermediate tem entertained Currin last night and hopefully the result went our way. Our next outing in the Intermediate League is against Corduff away on Sunday 4th September @12:30pm

Poster/ Art Competition:

As part of the sports festival and jubilee year we had a very keenly contested Art competition. The two categories were under12 and under 18. The eventual winners were; Under 18 –  1st – Aisling Mc Elvaney, 2nd Enya Mc Crudden. Under 12- 1st Caoimhe Mc Mahon, 2nd Orna Grant. Highly commended pieces of work in alphabetical order include: Daynagh Mc Elvaney, Orlaith Mc Elvaney, Aoibheann Mc Mahon, Rebecca O’ Brien. A sincere thanks to these competitors on their endeavours.

 

Jubilee Celebrations:

We are currently in the process of producing a DVD compiling the history of the club. Anybody who would like to suggest items to include in same, please contact Gerry Lynch or Ciaran Mc Entee by the end of August.

 

 

Corcaghan Comhaltas:

Enrolment for music classes in Corcaghan will take place on Friday 2nd September in Corcaghan School @7:oo pm annual membership fees and termclass fees will be collected on that evening, any queries contact Collette on 086-8670209.

 

 

 

Cultural Night:

 

Remember to keep the 2nd Friday free! Our next Traditional Irish Music session takes place on Friday 9th September. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Congratulations to Meagan Kearns, Shane & Niamh Maguire who were participating in Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann last weekend. Well done to you all, and in particular Shane Maguire who came 2nd place in Drums Under 12.
