Clann na Gael Goals were the deciding factor in a  close U15 Division 4 Cup Final played in Doohamlet on Thursday 23rd August.  Clann na Gael opened strongly with three points but Killanny got themselves back into it in the 10th minute of the half with a Cillian Mc Connon goal. However their lead was short live as Red Tom Mc Mahon scored the first of his two goals to put the Toome /Oram combination ahead.  Killanny kept within touching distance and a Dáire O Shea 45 in the closing minutes of the first half left the minimum in it at half time Clann naa Gael 1-6 Killanny 1-7

The opening minutes of the 2nd half continued in a similar manner but Shane Mc Cooey and Thomas Mc Mahon got  decisive goals  for Clann na Gael midway through the half  to  put seven points in it.  Killanny tried their best for the remainder of the half but Clann na Gael  were determined not to let it slip. They kept the same margin in  from there to the end despite  Killanny kicking the last three points of the game.  This left the full time score Clann na Gael 4-10 Killanny 1-12
