Seniors: Our Co Monaghan Credit Unions SFL Round 5 match v Monaghan Harps finished in a draw on a scoreline of 0-09 each.Our next fixture is away to Magheracloone this Saturday 2nd May at 7pm.

 

Reserve Bs: Our next Platinum Tanks RFL game is due to take place on 6th May away to Cremartin.

Minors: Mc Elvaney Recycling MFL game took place Tuesday 28th  April away  to Magheracloone at 7.30pm.

 

Hurling:

 

Senior Hurling League: Our Silver Hill Foods SHL match v Castleblaney resulted in a loss for us. We are at home to Dungannon tonight (Thursday).

Minor Hurling League: Our Silver Hill Foods MHL match v  Catleblaney finished in a win for us on a scoreline of 4-20 to 3-22 . Our next MHL match is away to Carrickmacross this Sunday at 12.00. Bus leaves St Mellans at 10.45am

U14s We play Cootehill next Monday at 7:30pm

U16 Hurling League:  Our U16s were beaten by Carrickmacross .

U12’s.We suffered a defeat against Carrickmacross.

U8/U10 Training every Friday nite in Carrickroe at 6.30pm

U12 Boys  Training Monday and Wednesday at 6.45pm

 U14 Boys: Commiserations to our U14s who suffered a defeat in their Gerry’s Prepared Veg Div 2 Championship Final. A great effort was put in by all of the boys.

 U16 Boys: Another good win last Thursday away to St Pats. Next match is at home to Carrickmacross Tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm

 

Nursery Training: Continues tonight (Thursday) at 7pm to 8pm

 

Boot Camp: Continues in St. Mellans on a Monday and Wednesday evening from 7-8pm, €4 per person. Men and women welcome.

Senior Ladies

Well done to the reserve team who had a convincing win over our neighbours Emyvale on Saturday, a great team performance well done girls. Congratulations to Aoibhínn Corrigan who received the 2014 reserve player of the year and to Rachel McKenna who received the 2014 senior player of the year at the clubs presentation night on Saturday. The senior team is home to St Brigid’s this Monday at 5pm.

Training continues every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening. Check group message for start times.

Keep free Saturday the 13th of June as we are running our Peader McGeogh senior tournament in St Mellans.

Tickets for the Monaghan ladies Strictly come dancing fundraiser this bank holiday Sunday night can be got from any committee member. It is guaranteed to be a great night.

U14/U16 Girls

Our U-14 team lost our league game to Aughnamullen last Monday evening. After an evenly contested first half our girls found themselves 2 points in arrears at the break but despite a spirited second half performance from all our girls we were defeated. Team and scores were Siobhan Coyle, Meabh Mc Cluskey, Emma Kelly, Shannon Kelly, Emma Mc Aree, Tara Mc Meel, Mia O Reilly, Ethna Boyle (0-2), Colleen Mc Gee (0-2), Clodagh Mc Meel (0-5), Caoimhe Mc Caffrey, Aoife Tierney (0-1), Aoibhinn Treanor (0-3), Leona Treanor, Eve Mc Kenna, Cara Helferty.

Our next U-14 game is away to Carrickmacross on Tuesday 5th May 2015 at 6.45pm. All support will be very welcome.

Congratulations to Niamh, Lauren, Meghan and Morgan who were part of the Monaghan ladies county U-16 team who had a comprehensive win over Armagh last weekend to qualify for the Ulster A final.

U12 Girls

U12 training is on Thursday night from 7-8 and on Saturday from 1-2 in St Mellans.

To all girls registration is now over due so could all players get this to Eadaoin Treanor as soon as possible.
