Reserves: Our B team had to dig deep showing plenty of character to come back and draw level in the final stages against Aughnamullan last Friday night. Final Score Emyvale (2-12) Aughnamullen (3-9)

 

Pitch Availability: Micky Mc Carron will be in charge of pitch bookings for the coming year. All pitch bookings for matches and/or training sessions should be made through Micky. Team Managers and mentors in all codes and at all age groups should note that a pitch will not be available at any given time unless it has been booked and approved in advance.

Sunday 12th Apr 2015 Tyholland v Emyvale Intermediate Football League Round 2 Tyholland 3:00 PM Note: If Monaghan qualify for NFL semi final this game will be on Wednesday 15 April. Time to be confirmed.

 

Juveniles: The Mc Elroy/Connelly Memorial Tournament will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 6th April 2015. This is a U-16 tournament with 8 teams competing Emyvale, Truagh, Scotstown, Eglish, Eire Og, Monaghan Harps, Sean Mc Dermotts & Enniskillen Gaels. Registration is at 9.30am with the first games starting at 10.00am. Please come along and show your support to all the team and if you are free to help out in any way your assistance will be greatly appreciated. 

 

Training for U-10’s & U-8’s & Nursery children commences outdoors this Saturday 4th April in Tully at 10.30am. Please note all players must wear a mouth guard. Contact Martin O’Brien on 087672198 or John Hamill on 0879151518 or Paddy Kelly on 0876688735 for further information. 

 

There will be 9 U-8 & U-10 Go Games Blitzes in 2015, the first U-10 blitz will be on Saturday 11thApril from 10am -12 in Clones and the first U-8 blitz will be on Saturday 18th April from 10am to 12 also in Clones. The dates and times for all Go Games Blitz are on the Monaghan GAA website.

 

Both U-12 teams play the second round of fixtures in the Spring League this weekend away to Scotstown. Our A Team are out at 3.15pm and our B Team play at 2.00pm.  U-12 training every Monday & Wednesday in Tully from 7 – 8pm.

 

Our U-14 played their second match of the league last Saturday away to Drumhowan, they went down by the narrowest of margins losing by one point. There is no rest for the boys as we play Drumhowan again tonight Thursday 2nd April 2015 in the Championship quarter final @ 6.15pm in Tully, hopefully we can avenge last weekend’s defeat. U-14 training every Monday & Wednesday in Tully from 7 – 8pm.

 

Under 16 Football starts on Thursday 9th April away to Clones at 6:30pm. U-16 training every Monday in Tully from 8 – 9:15pm.

 

Anyone interested in becoming a Go Games Referee for 2015 please contact Aine Sheehan on 085 1400186, Martin O’Brien on 087672198 or John Hamill on 0879151518. There will be a total of 18 Go Games Blitzes over the year and referees will be offered €15 per blitz. Blitzes are on Saturday morning between 10am to 12. All candidates must be over 14 years of age.

 

Monaghan GAA are running a 3 Day Easter Camp on 7th/8th/9th of April in five centres Scotstown, Monaghan Harps, Clones, Ballybay & Magheracloone for ages 5-12. The camp cost €40 per child and €35 for additional child from the same family and there will be a free hoodie for all participants. You can register by going to the Monaghan GAA website clicking on the Easter Camp flyer and completing the application form.
