Presentation Night: On Monday 16th of March, a presentation night will be held in the club. Refreshments will be served on the night prior to live music. Presentations will be made on the night to Club Person of the Year Helen Mc Enaeney. The Reserve team will be given medals from their league success. Other presentations will be made on the night, most notably to newly Weds Fergal and Claire Toal. A great night lays in store. Everyone is most welcome.

Host Venue: The Monaghan Ladies return to Blackhill on Sunday to take on Mayo in the national league. Throw in is at 2pm and stewards are asked to be in position shortly after 1.

Developments: There is a new addition in the social centre in the shape of a Pool Table. The new pool table is placed in the Annaglaive Room and is available for all members.

Reserves: Blackhill took a share of the spoils last Saturday evening at home to Carrick in a hard fought battle played in blustery conditions. Trailing by two points at half time, young Tommy Geehan got on the end of a Tony Comiskey flick to fire to the net for Blackhill’s key score. Final Score: Bhill 1-5 Carrick 0-8. Minor Training: Continues Tuesdays and Thursdays. Contact management for details.

Club Membership: Membership is now overdue and all membership must be concluded before the end of March. Full Membership £10. Social membership £10.

Ticket Sellers Required: The club are looking for anyone in the locality that is interested in selling club lotto tickets. All student sellers will receive a commission for each ticket sold. If you are interested or even wish to volunteer someone that might be interested please contact any committee member or enquire at the bar.

 

Nursery Programme: Blackhill are excited about the development of a new nursery programme that will provide fun and games based on the fundamental skills of Gaelic football. We are currently recruiting new players (boys and girls) from under 6 level up. There will be a meeting held shortly to discuss arrangements further. Any parent or potential coach that is available to help out in any small way is encouraged to contact Matthew 0870666914.
