A lot of our members were involved in County action at the weekend with mixed fortunes. The minors played Sligo on Saturday This team includes Eoin McQuaid, James Mealiff, Ryan Rooney & Fabian Began, it was a very good run out by all accounts with Sligo edging the encounter.
The U21’s put in a very good first half against Tyrone but the second half was all Tyrone leaving Dev and Declan disappointed. The Seniors snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against the rebels in Castleblaney and but for a last minute wide could be sitting on top of Division 1. Hard luck to Fintan and the boys but there’s a lot of positives to be taken from all the weekends exertions.

Cavan & Monaghan VEC Champions Largy College played Moyeana College Bundorn in the Ulster Schools Quarter final in the Peace Link Clones on Tuesday Largy won on a scoreline of 4-10 to 4-6 Magh ene Bundoran. Hard fought and keenly contested match. They are awaiting the winners of breffini college and sloash na carrick after the pre’s. Well done lads and best of luck in your exams. Great turnout for registration day on Saturday there are still a few stragglers so please contact Joanne or you’re relevant coaches as soon as possible.
