Aughnamullen Notes
Seniors: The Seniors played Aghabog last Saturday night in Aughnamullen. In a tight struggle against the determined Aghabog side Aughnamullen emerged victorious on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-05. Highlight of the game must be the goal scored by wing forward Keith Sheridan definitely one for the record books. Next game is the Junior Championship against Eire Og in Drumhowan this Saturday night at 7 30pm. All support welcome.
Reserves: The Reserves played Inniskeen in the Quarter Final of the Championship on Wednesday night last. Report in next weeks issue.
Under 14 boys team and the Juvenile committee: With our U 14 team reaching National Feile competition at the end of June. The club are organising a number of fundraisers to assist with costs. First up is this Friday night the 6th of June which is our table quiz. Entry for Table Quiz is €20 and a good nights entertainment is guranteed. On Sunday the 15th of June for our breakfast morning where everyone can prop up the feet, sip tea, relax and eat the best cooked breakfast in the parish before heading to the Monaghan game. The Under 14s whom are preparing for the Féile competition in Mayo at the end of June need to raise much needed money for the Journey and expenses that come with the competition, so we would love to see our parish and community members show up to our fundraisers or if you would be willing to make a donation or provide sponsorship big or small we would very much appreciate it.

On the Football Front the Under 14’s played away to Emyvale on Saturday last and had a convincing over the hosts they play at home to Inniskeen on Thursday night (tonight) at 7 30pm. All support welcome
