Training is scheduled Monday & Thursday @ 7.00pm

U14

The U14 League Division 3 Round 4 game away to Eire Og on Saturday May 3rd was postponed and will now take place on Thursday May 8th. Throw in at 7.00pm.

U16

The U16’s League Division 1 Round 5 fixture against Donaghmoyne on Thursday May 1st ended in an 11pt win for Corduff. Round 6 is away to Monaghan Harps on Thursday May 15th. Throw in at 7.30pm

Seniors:

Corduff travelled to Tyholland last Friday for Round 5 of the Intermediate League. Corduff immediately stated their intend by putting 3 points on the scoreboard in the first 5 minutes. This threat continued throughout the 1st half with Corduff creating chances, attacking from all angles, missing some but by halftime were ahead on a scoreline of 1-07 to 0-05. Once again Corduff were quick of the mark in the second half by scoring a goal in the first minute. They played deep defensive football with the pace picking up midway through the half. Corduff kept the pressure on right up to the final whistle finishing on a score line of Corduff 3-11 Tyholland 0-9. This was a great team performance with fitness and good ball handling playing a key role. On the day Corduff outplayed and outscored Tyholland. Both teams were handed black cards with Corduff’s subs making a good impact. The team was as follows Raymond Byrne, Ben Woods, Ciaran Brennan, Gerry Mee, John McEnaney, Declan Larkin, Cathal Connolly, Mark McEnaney, Martin Milks, Keith McEnaney, Padraic Keenan, Jason Hand, Brendan McNally and Gareth King. Subs used were Charles Cooney, Niall Reilly, Shane McNally,Aidan Marron and Daniel McDonald.This result is a great boost ahead of this week’s home derby against Carrickmacross which was played last night.

Crawley Cup Reserve / Junior B Championship. Corduff made the short trip to Aughnamullen on Sunday last to play in the Preliminary Round of the Reserve Championship . It was a very under strength side that lined out with many of the regulars missing. This made the challenge greater and by the interval the score was Aughnamullen 1-08 Corduff 0-4. This margin continued to widen in the second half with Corduff only registering  1-01. The task became immense with Ahghnamullen clear winners. The team was David McEnaney, Charles Cooney, Hugh Larkin, Conor Campbell , Cathal McEnaney, Daniel Connolly, Aidan Ward, Martin McNally, Gavin McEnaney, Daniel McDonald, Cian McEnaney, Niall Reilly and James Gallagher. Subs used were Adrian Connolly, Mark Treanor, Aaron Kernan.
