Seniors v Inniskeen

Our senior team had their first outing in the intermediate league last Saturday evening in Inniskeen. It was always to be a tough task but the team started well with a quick point from Patrick Kieran.  Scores were exchanged during the first half with Seans taking a one point lead into half time. The second half was tough with good end to end action. The team showed great spirit and solid performances from Philip Farrelly, Emmett McElvaney, at the rear and Patrick Kieran , scoring eight points up front. With only minutes remaining Inniskeen struck the killer punch with a goal and a point in quick succession. Inniskeen finished winners by 2-10 to 0-12.
