Seniors: This Saturday we take on Tyholland away all support needed.

Deepest sympathy : The Corduff club would like to extend out deepest sympathy to Paddy and the Martin family on the death of Concepta

Corduff Ladies:

16s: The U16s great run came to an end when they were beaten by Eire Og in the final. Corduff had a great first half. It was a tough low scoring game with Corduff not registering a score in the second half. With tight marking Corduff found the going touch. They played their hearts out but were beaten on a score line of Eire Og 2-4 Corduff 0-5.

The team was as follows: Amy Marron, Eibhlin Clinton, Keely Culleton, Dearbhla Callan, Hannah Finegan(joint captain), Jessica McMahon, Niamh Callan, Sarah McEnaney, Ellie Comiskey, Eva Woods (joint captain), Aoivheann Farrelly, Lauren Culleton,Rebacca  Carraghee and Elena McEnaney. This is a great bunch of girls and we look forward to seeing more from ye in the future.

MINORS: On Saturday last the minors defeated Carrick on a score line of Corduff 3-12 to Carrick 3-3. The game opened even enough with the 1st score coming from Eva Woods in the 4th minute. Eva, Nicky Carragher and Sarah Burns all added points with the halftime score 0-8 to 0-3. There was great teamwork throughout with great passing and defending in all areas. Keely Culleton guarded thd goal line pulling off some great saves. At half time management commended each player on the huge effort they were putting in. This effort continued in the 2nd half . Corduff kept the pressure on and dominated play and the score line with goals coming from Nicky Carragher and Laura Sheridan. Points also came from Eva and Sarah Burns. It was the hard work and committment all over the pitch that paid off with Corfuff comfortable winners by 9 points. A great team spirit was evident. Team was as follows: Keely Culleton , Eibhlin Clinton, Ellie Comiskey, Laura Sheridan, Hannah Finegan, Sarah McEnaney, Dearbhla Callan, Eva Woods, Nicky Carragher, Niamh Callan, Sarah Burns and Annie Brennan.

COMMISERATIONS to Laura , Barbara, Gregory ,Seamus and the entire Monaghan Ladies panel and management on being so narrowly defeated by Cork. It was a great achievement to reach the All Ireland and represent the county at the highest level of Ladies Gaelic Football in the land. Ye all did club and county proud.
SYMPATHY is extended to the McMahon family on the recent death of Bridgie  and also to the Martin/McNally families on the recent passing of Concepta.
