Seniors: The Seniors take on holders Ballybay in the Senior Championship semi-final this Saturday at 1:45pm in Saint Tiernach’s Park, Clones. The game is part of a double-header with the other semi-final between Monaghan Harps and Clontibret at 3:30pm.

Juniors: Scotstown C had a good win at home to Éire Óg last weekend, by 2-14 to 1-7. They finish their season with an away fixture against leaders Killanny this Sunday morning, throwing-in at 11:30am.

Conversational Irish: The conversational Irish group continues every Tuesday night from 8-9pm. Caint is comhrá as Gaeilge – tá fáilte le gach duine!

Congratulations: Well done to Jack McCaffrey of Clontarf on the part he played in Dublin’s All-Ireland win on Sunday. Jack is a grandson of former Knockatallon, Scotstown and Monaghan great, Mickey McCaffrey.

Presentation: A presentation of the proceeds of this year’s Ned Run to the nominated charities will take place in the Complex this Saturday night, September 28th at 10pm – everyone welcome to attend. A total of €7,000 will be divided between the Irish Heart Foundation, Monaghan Hospice Home Care, Drumkill Alzheimer’s Day Care and the Club for the Elderly.

Development Draw: The Scotstown GAA Development Draw will take place on Sunday, October 27th. First prize is a Seat Ibiza car; second prize is a cruise; there are three cash prizes of €1000, €500 and €500 for third to fifth and sixth prize is a pair of tickets for next year’s All-Ireland Football Final. Tickets available on the Scotstown website and from club members priced at €20 each or three for €50.

Ciste: The September Ciste draw takes place this Saturday night in the Complex. Tickets are €7.

Condolences: Sympathy is extended to the families and friends of the recently deceased including Owen Rafferty, Ard na Gaoithe; Ann Smith, Carrickgolden, Co. Clare.
