Senior Football Championship.

We played Rockcorry in the championship last Friday evening in what was a very close and exciting match, with the result in doubt right up to the final whistle. Latton just about deserved there 2pt win on a score line of Latton 2-12 Rockcorry 1-13. See full match report elsewhere. We play Scotstown  on Sunday this is a must win game for both teams as both teams have already be beaten in earlier rounds. The game will be played in Clontibret at 3-15pm.

Minor Championship

The minor div-2 championship ended for our lads last Tuesday evening, when we were beaten by a strong Donaghmoyne team.

Memorial tournament.

The football tournament held in memory of Jack Conlon and Emily Coyle last Saturday was one of the most successful events held in Latton in a long time. The large crowd who turned out to support this event were treated to some great football, and a special thanks to the teams who played on the day Aughnamullen, Cremartin, Cootehill Drumgoone, Donaghmoyne and Latton. With the football over the Conlon and Coyle families made presentations to all the children who took part in the games. A special thanks to all the ladies who helped with the food and everyone who helped out on the day.

U-14

Our u-14 team were beaten by  Doohamlet in the semi-final of the league on Monday evening. The lads gave a great account of themselves but Doohamlet proved two strong in the end. Thank you to all the players and management for all their hard work throughout the year, also to all the parents who came to support the team and help out when ever needed.
