Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on the 4^th August 2013.  Numbers Drawn were: 6-15-24-25.  Lucky Dip Winners: Caoimhe Flanagan, Cremartin, Boylan Family, C/o Syl Mulligan, Dearbhla McCreesh, Cremartin, Terence McNally, Drumgriston and Pat Brennan, Tasson.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Fixtures

Seniors: We are away to Corduff this Saturday 11^th August at 12.30 p.m.

Minors: We play either St.Pats/Killanny this Saturday 10^th August at 7.15 p.m. in Blackhill.

U-16s: We are at home against Truagh on Thursday 15^th August at 7.00 p.m.

U-14s: We are away to Latton on Tuesday 13^th August at 7.00 p.m.

Commiserations: to the Monaghan Senior Team and Management after their defeat in the All Ireland Quarter Final last Saturday.  It has been a great year for Monaghan football and they have done their Clubs and County very proud.  Looking forward to 2014 and what it may bring!!

Congratulations: to the Monaghan Minor Team and Management and our own Mark Magee on their brilliant win against Tipperary last Monday and securing their place in the All Ireland Semi Final against Mayo on the 25^th August.   Well done to all involved!!

Congratulations: to Aidan Kerr and Cathal Kerr and the Monaghan Minor Hurlers who qualified for the All Ireland minor “C” championship final having beaten both Louth and Tyrone in the Ulster end of the series in Cloghan recently.  Again well done to all involved!!

Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Colin McNally and his new bride Teresa who got married last weekend.  Wishing you many years of happiness together!

Club Meeting: Our August Club Meeting will take place next Tuesday 13^th August in the Club at 9.00 p.m.
