Plastic Bottle Recycling Initiative

A plastic bottle recycling scheme in association with Castleblayney tidy towns committee and Monaghan county council was commissioned recently. The club will collect its plastic bottles which will be brought to Shabra for recycling with the proceeds going to the club. The collection point is within the dressing room building as the aim is to firstly get the footballers recycling. Many thanks to Pat Merrick & Niall O Connor for this innovative and educational initiative.

Agricultural Show Bank Holiday Monday

The Weather, “the field”, the show was a rousing success on bank holiday Monday. Congratulations to Castleblayney show society and many thanks to all the volunteers from the club who assisted on the day.
