Seniors:

The Intermediate Football league match due to take place Wednesday evening against Iniskeen was postponed due to the Countys involvement in the All Ireland Quarter Finals at the weekend.

Minors:

Minors returned to action last Tuesday evening as they took on Cuchulains Sarsfields at home in Donaghmoyne. This was a tight encounter throughout and unfortunately the lads came out on the wrong side of a 3 point defeat. They have no game for a couple of weeks, training continuesThursday evening at 7 o clock.

U16s:

Last Thursday evening our U16 panel took on Clontibret at home in the league. The lads got off to a great start and were in the lead from the off and thankfully they held onto their lead to come out with a win. They have two league games left before the semi final but they’ll not take place for a couple of weeks. Training continues Thursday evening at 7 o clock.

U14s:

Saturday morning last, the U14 side returned to action as they took on Ballybay at home. Donaghmoyne started off strong and put in an excellent performance which led to a comprehensive victory. Training continues Friday evening at 6 o clock.

U12s:

U12 training continues on Saturday morning at 11 o clock. With a league final and semi final to come for both teams in the coming weeks full attendance is needed at training from now until the end of the year.

Mini Fontenoys:

The minis training continues Saturday at 11 in Donaghmoyne. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Cost is €2 per family. Also any parents willing to get involved in coaching are more than welcome.

Best of Luck Monaghan:

The club would like to wish both the Monaghan Senior and Minor Footballers and Management the very best of luck in the All Ireland Quarter Finals this weekend but especially to our own club players, Mikey Murnaghan and Ciaran Martin with the Minors, and also Padraig Donaghy with the Seniors. The seniors face Tyrone in Croke Park on Saturday evening and the Minors take on Tipperary in Pearse Park Longford on Monday at 3 o clock.
