Lorcan Duffy Memorial Cup: 

In association with Doohamlet GFC and SOSAD (Save our Sons and Daughters) The Lorcan Duffy Memorial Golf Classic 2013 was launched on Monday evening last in Connollys.

This is the second year of this annual event in memory of our former player Lorcan and we hope it will be as successful as our inaugural classic in 2012.

Last years winning club Toome GFC will hope to defend their title but no doubt a number of other clubs will be striving to get their hands on this impressive trophy.

All GAA clubs within the county are invited to enter a team of four players to represent their club and we are also inviting  Any group of four members to play  in this prestigious event.

Entry fee is a very attractive  €120  and numerous prizes will be on offer.

So remember to make Friday 26^th July your Golf Day at Rossmore  Golf Club  Monaghan for the Lorcan Duffy Memorial Cup.   (More details in the coming weeks)

Speedy Recovery:

Doohamlet GFC wish young starlet Damian Ward a speedy recovery after suffering a shoulder injury last weekend while playing for our Reserves.

Congrats:

Well done to Barry McGinn and the County Minor team on their great result last weekend.

Our Club sends its sincere Sympathy and Condolences to the family and Friends of Lizzy Donaghy  Drumakill, Jenny Duffy,  Corlagan and James Cunningham,  Drummuck  who all passed away recently. May They Rest in Peace.
