 Senior Football

Latton got there first points of the year on Wednesday evening last when we beat Clontibret away. In a good open first half of football Latton moved the ball quickly and kicked some good points from play. HT Clontibret 0-4 Latton 0-9. The second half was a more even affair with both teams kicking 6pts with latton recording a 5pt win at the end.  Team: & Scorers: S, Farmer. K, Farrelly. We had a very good win over Rockcorry on Sunday. Latton 3-17 Rockcorry 2-9.

Championship Preview.

On Saturday May 11^th the Latton O’ Rahilly club plays host to some of today’s finest footballers along with some past legends to conduct an in-depth questions & Answers session in the lead up to this year’s ALL-Ireland football series. In what promises to be a very entertaining night, Dublins All Ireland winning player Brenard Brogan, recently retired Crossmaglens stalwart Oisin Mc Conville, Kildare’s sharp-shooter Seanie Johnston Derry colourful forward Paddy Bradley. Local hero and Monaghan captain Owen Lennon will come to the centre dissect & deliberate this year championship with a no frill straight answers question and answer session.The large-expected audience will also participate with what will be an open forum lead by popular UTV compere Adrian Logan. Photo opportunities will also be available with the celebrities early on in the evening. Tickets €15 are in particularly high demand for this unique occasion and are available from Ken Framer 087-2476176 or any committee member.

Community games

There will a table quiz in aid of the bawn  -Latton community games on Friday 10^th May in Latton GAA centre, everyone welcome.
