Doohamlet GFC Notes

Reserves:  Our reserve team suffered a heavy defeat on Sunday last away at Truagh.  Our next fixture is away to Cremartin on Wednesday 3rd April @ 7pm

Seniors:  Our Seniors are currently training hard for the new season which will begin on Sunday 31st March when we are scheduled to play Blayney Faughs away.

U12s:  Our U12 team travel to Corduff on Saturday to play the locals in the Spring league.  Throwin 12 noon.

Juvenile training: U12 Mondays 5-6pm sharp, U14/16, Mondays & Wednesdays 5.30pm-6.30pm, all players to be on pitch by 5.15pm. All players are asked to make a huge effort to attend as leagues begin shortly.  Don’t forget gum shields and water!

Mouth Guards:  Just to remind all Juveniles and players up to Minor age that it is now compulsory to wear Mouth Protection.  Remember No Mouth guard No Game.  This rule applies to training also.

Congratulations:  To Ulster President Martin McAviney (Ballybay) and Ulster PRO Sean Connolly (Currin) on their recent election to these prestigious positions.

FAS Scheme:  Doohamlet GFC are delighted to welcome two new members Paul McElroy and Peter McGinitty and no doubt both will have a major input in the development of O’Neill Park and the local community over the coming months.
