Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on the 11th March 2013. Numbers Drawn were: 3-9-16-28 . Lucky Dip Winners: Jenny Duffy, Avelreagh, Sean McBennett, Annagh, Niamh Kerr, Annagh, Una Rafferty, Keady and Marie Mohan, Melbourne. The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

In compliance with direction from Croke Park Cremartin Shamrocks GAA Club requests membership fees are paid by 31st of March 2013. We are kindly requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season. Fees are Adults – €30, Juveniles – €15, Students – €15 and for a family (family = two adults and any children under 18) – €60.
Following a motion passed at the Convention please note that no tickets will be ordered for non-members for any games this year so it of the upmost importance that membership is paid in time. Anyone wanting to pay their membership can do so by contacting our Club Registrar Seamus Eccles.
Fixtures
Intermediate League: We play Currin at home in the first round of the league on Sunday 31st March next at 2.00 p.m.
Reserve League: We are away to Ballybay this Saturday 16th March at 12 noon.
Minor League: We are away to St. Patricks in Drumhowan on 2nd April at 7.00 p.m.
U-16 League: We are away to Corduff on 2nd May 2013 at 7.00 p.m.
U-14 League: We are away to Clontibret on 23rd March 2013 at 12.00 noon.
U-12 League: We are away to Ballybay on 30th March 2013 at 12.00 noon.

Reserve League
We played our first game of the league away to Drumhowan on Sunday afternoon last resulting in a win for the home side on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-06 Drumhowan 3-06. Team and scores: Simon Atkinson, Shane Mulligan, Eanna Atkinson, Ryan Carragher, Kevin Atkinson, Kevin McVicar, Fergal Flanagan, Declan Mulligan, Fergal Mulligan (0-1), Philip Markey (0-2), John Tomany, Josh McWilliams, Andrew Atkinson, Peter McMahon (1-3) and Ryan McVicar. Subs: Sean Atkinson, Matthew Atkinson and Brendan McNally.
U21 Shamrock Cup
The U21 Shamrock Cup ended in true style last Wednesday night in Emyvale when our own Monaghan team over came a Tyrone side on a scoreline of Monaghan 4-08 Tyrone 0-06. After an exciting and thrilling encounter in weather beating conditions this young team really excelled themselves in every area of the field and emerged very quickly as winners and ensured that Capt Rory Beggan lifted the silverware at the end of this tournament.
Congratulations to the U21 team, management and to Cremartin’s very own Paddy and Johnny McGuigan who have impressed throughout the tournament. Our sincere gratitude must go to the organising Committee for running an excellent event and in particular Declan Flanagan the Event Co-ordinator. Thank you to our loyal Cremartin Gaels who travelled to Emyvale on the night and helped out in any way.
2013 Cadbury’s Ulster U21 Football Championship
Monaghan U21s take on Cavan on Wednesday 20th March next in Breffni Park at 8.00 p.m. Good luck to Patrick and Jonathan McGuigan and the U21 team.

Coffee Morning: in aid of Clogher don Óige Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place in the Scout Hall after 11am Mass in Castleblayney this Sunday 17th March. Local volunteer Gemma Mulligan is taking part and all support would be greatly appreciated!

Interviews for Gaeltacht Scholarships: to Coláiste Bhríde, Rann Na Feirste will be held in GAA Administration Office Cloghan on Saturday 20th April 2013. Interviews for students who are pre Junior Cert will start at 10am, while interviews for post Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students will begin at 11.30am. No pre booking is required.
