Mouthguards:

Following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was passed that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. There is a clinic in Dundalk who make personally fitted mouthguards for people wishing to get them at €35 each. Contact 0874066041 to arrange an appointment.

Junior Bs:

Juniors made it two wins from two last weekend with a comprehensive victory over Carrick at home.

U16s + Minors:

U16 and minor training continues Tuesday at 6.45 in Donaghmoyne. Minors are playing Gearldines from Dundalk Thursday in a challenge. Players will be notified of the time.

U14:

U14 training continues Monday evening at 5.30 in Donaghmoyne. All must attend.

U10s + U12s:

U10 and U12 training continues Saturday morning at 11 o clock.

Mini Fontenoys:

The minis training continues Saturday at 11 in Donaghmoyne, weather permitting. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Cost is €2 per child. Also any parents willing to get involved in coaching are more than welcome.

Recently Deceased:

The club would like to extend its sympathies to the Kingham family Culloville on the recent death of Philomena Mac Aleenan

Speedy Recovery:

The club wishes Christopher Deery a speedy recovery after his recent operation and look forward to seeing him back on the playing field as soon as possible.

Juvenile Presentation Night:

The Juvenile Presentation night is taking place on Saturday 6th of April in Lisdoonan Centre. Every team from and including U10s up to Minors have medals to receive so don’t miss out.

GAA CUL Camps:

The GAA CUL Camp in Donaghmoyne this summer is taking place from Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August so keep this week free.

Coaching Courses:

There is an Under 8 Coaching Course taking place in the Patrician High School Carrickmacross on Thursday March 14th from 7.30 until 9.30. This course is free to anyone interested. Contact Colin on 0879090477 for details.

CPR Defibrillator Training:

Race Night:

The Race Night has been postponed until a later date but everyone is asked to keep selling. We ask everyone to kindly support the Race Night and to try and support our club as much as possible.
