Senior League

Clontibret 2-23, Currin 1-4. We put up a high score last Saturday to overcome Currin and get two more league points. The next senior game will be against Latton in the senior championship on Saturday, 30^th June in Inniskeen at 8pm. It is the second game of a double header, the first game is ‘Blayney v Magheracloone.

 

Reserve League

Clontibret 0-9, ‘Blayney 0-11. A disappointing defeat as this was a game we could have and should have won only for difficulty converting possession into scores. Team and scorers: Dean McDonald, Christopher Tedore, Padraig McGuigan, Fergal McGuigan, Eoin McGuigan 0-1, Donal Carragher, Kieran Greenan, Fergal Greenan 0-1, Daithi McKeown, Ronan Murphy, Pauric Boyle 0-1, Noel Morgan0-6, Fergal O’Dowd, Shane Hughes, Lorcan Murphy. Subs: David Savage, Darren Murphy.

 

We played Tyholland in the league yesterday, result next week. We play Magheracloone on Sunday, 17^th at 12.30pm in Magheracloone. Please note change of date.

 

U14 Championship

Clontibret 2-5, Rockcorry 2-8. Despite a hard-working performance from our Division 6 team we were unlucky to lose out in the end by a mere 3 points to Rockcorry’s first team. The boys showed great fighting spirit and determination and did fantastic to reach the semi-final of this competition. Well done boys.

 

U14 League

Division 1: The Harps game due to be played this Saturday has now been refixed for next Monday or Tuesday. Players should keep in touch with management for the definite refixed date.

Division 6: We take on Rockcorry on Saturday in Rockcorry at 12pm.

 

U12

Clontibret 1-10, Drumhowan 2-4. Our u 12s had a great win over Drumhowan last Saturday. Well done boys. The next game is on Saturday, 23^rd June at home to Killanny at 12pm.

 

U10

U10 training continues on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. All are welcome to come along.

 

Under 8s & Nursery

Under 8s and u6 nursery continues on Friday evenings at 6:30pm sharp. All boys and girls welcome.

 

 

Hurling

Senior Hurling League

Clontibret 1-12 Monaghan Harps 2-6

A spirited 2nd half performance saw Clontibret clinch victory. Good performances from Aodh Curran, Kieran Greenan, Noel Morgan and David Morgan.
