Doohamlet GFC Notes

Seniors Championship:  Doohamlet 0-15   Sean McDermotts  1-08

Doohamlet began their Championship quest on Sunday last and had to battle to the end against a fired up Seans side.

League positions had no bearing on this no-holds barred contest as both sides strived for superiority and only in the last quarter did Doohamlet pull away and gain the vital scores to ensure victory and set us up for a first round game against Inniskeen on July 8^th (See match report).

I.F.L.:   Doohamlet played Inniskeen last night Wednesday (Report next week) and have Rockcorry as visitors to O’Neill Park on Sunday next in the Intermediate football league.  Note early throwin 12 o’clock.

Good Luck:  To all our young students who begin their Junior and Leaving cert exams this week.

Monthly Meeting:  Our monthly club meeting will be held on Thursday 14^th June at 8.30pm in the clubrooms.

Go Games:  Doohamlet are hosting U8 and U10 Go Games in O’Neill Park on Monday 25^th June from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.  With a number of clubs involved both playing pitches will be occupied and club members are asked to come along and give some much needed help.
