Senior League

We played Magheracloone yesterday evening, Wednesday. We have a home game against Truagh on Sunday at 5pm. There will be a break from senior fixtures after this for a couple of weeks as Monaghan prepare for the Antrim match.

 

O’Duffy Cup

Clontibret 0-16, ‘Blayney 3-9. A disappointing result after a great first half playing against the wind. We conceded three goals which we found difficult to come back from, and although we finished strongly we ran out of time. Team and scorers: Arthur Morgan, Kieran Greenan, Padraig McGuigan, Fergal McGuigan, Donal Carragher 0-1, Pauric Boyle, Eoin McGuigan, Daithi McKeown, David Savage 0-2, Johnny McKenna 0-1, Rodney Gorman 0-5, Ronan Murphy,  Noel Morgan 0-7, Shane Hughes, Ryan McGuigan. Subs: Conor Carragher, Fergal Greenan, Fergal O’Dowd.

We play the Harps away on Wednesday week, 23^rd May at 7.45pm.

 

Minor League

Clontibret 1-12, ‘Blayney 1-12. This was an excellent game against ‘Blayney ending in a draw with the boys fighting back from a goal down, and indeed could have went on to win the game.

We played Killanny on Tuesday gone by. We play Carrick in Carrick next Tuesday at 7.30pm.

 

U16 League

We play Carrick this evening, Thursday in Clontibret at 7pm.

 

U14 League

Our Division 6 team lost out to a strong Truagh side on Saturday. Next Thursday, 17^th the Division 6 team are in action again at home to Carrick at 7pm. The Division 1 team have an away game against Emyvale at 12pm on Saturday week, 19^th May.

 

U12 League

Our u12s were unfortunate to lose out to Aughnamullen last week to bring the preliminary league to an end. The boys are training hard for the next league to begin, details of which have yet to be finalised.

 

U10

The u10 Community Games team played their semi-final against Carrick yesterday evening, Wednesday.

U10 training continues on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. All are welcome to come along.

 

Under 8s & Nursery

Under 8s and u6 nursery continues on Friday evenings at 6:30pm sharp. All boys and girls welcome.

Clontibret 2-23 Knocks Grattans 1-04

The seniors got back to winning ways with a convincing win with star performances from Noel Morgan and Malachy Trainor who led Willie Moen and the Grattans defence a merry dance.
