Doohamlet GFC Notes

Seniors:  Our Seniors began their Intermediate League campaign last night Wed with a home game against our local rivals Cremartin. (Report next week)  On Sunday we travel to Aughnamullen for game number two in the Intermediate league.

Minors:  Our Minor team began their league campaign when they travelled to Corduff on Tuesday last and were somewhat unlucky not to get anything from this game.  A very young side played some excellent football throughout and were more than a match for the locals.

Both sides produced some fine scores with Barry McGinn, Conor Marray, Barry McBennett and Jamie Walshe all scorers on the night.  Final score  Corduff  2-15   Doohamlet  1-16

Reserves:  An understrength Reserve team travelled to Carrick on Friday evening last and suffered a 2-10 to 0-08 defeat.  Next fixture:  Doohamlet  v  Killeevan at home Wed 18^th April @ 7.15

Welcome Home:  Great to see Paul McArdle return to our shores last week.  Paul will be raring to get back in action and no doubt will be looking forward to wearing the blue jersey again.
