Sean Mac Diarmada Notes 12-4-12

DVD Competition:

The club history DVD is almost complete and plans are in the offing to launch it next month. Over the coming weeks the club will be running a quiz with two questions here every week. One lucky competition winner will be presented with the first copy of the DVD on the launch night. The first two quiz questions are: (1)The Sean’s under 14 team won the McHugh Cup in 2007. Who was the captain of the team? (2) Name the two Seans players who were honoured with Lakeland Dairies All-Stars in 1990? Details on how to enter will follow in coming weeks.

Cultural Night:

Our Traditional Irish Music sessions will be running for one year, in April. So we look forward to celebrating this, on Friday 13th April – our usual 2nd Friday slot. Junior musicians will kick off the session @ 9pm sharp, with our seasoned performers picking up the pace as the night progresses!

As usual, we’re looking forward to a great night’s entertainment. Refreshments will be served.

So remember to keep Friday 13th April free. We look forward to seeing you all there. Everyone welcome!
