Following the recent Comhdháil Bhliantúil Monaghan GAA would like to extend huge gratitude to officers who have changed roles and to welcome new officers on board:
To outgoing Rúnaí / Secretary Michael, on behalf of Monaghan GAA thank you for your dedication, passion, vision & commitment to Monaghan GAA over the last 5 years. We extend our gratitude to you for your exceptional work and leadership during your tenure as Rúnaí. We sincerely appreciate your contribution, your hard work and your efforts which have positively impacted all your interactions on behalf of Monaghan GAA. Michael’s commitment to Monaghan GAA doesn’t end here as he is moving into a new role as Monaghan GAA Planning & Training Officer and we wish him good luck in that role. The baton of Rúnaí now passes onto Michael Owen McMahon who brings a wealth of experience to the rule and we also wish him good luck.
To outgoing Rúnaí Cúnta Majella, we extend our appreciation for the incredible work you did in the various positions you’ve held with Monaghan GAA over the years.
To outgoing Coaching Officer John, we also extend our gratitude as John’s tenure draws to a close. John was extremely committed to the role of Coaching Officer over the 5 year term and was always in communication with Monaghan GAA Coaching Officer & Coaches. John moves to the role of Rúnaí Cunta and we extend our best wishes to John as he assumes the role.
Monaghan GAA is delighted to welcome 3 new faces to the Management Committee, Patrick Hannon as Hurling Officer, Paddy Martin as Coaching Officer and John McArdle who makes a return as Assistant Treasurer.
Best wishes to all officers and we look forward to 2025 with optimism.
