Over the course of June, July and August, 21 of our clubs hosted Kelloggs Cul Camps which is one more than recent years with the addition of the Killeevan Sarsfield club now hosting a camp. This year we seen an increase in participants with an overall total of 2646 children (1475 boys and 1153 girls) taking part. This year also saw our very first Kelloggs Inclusive Cul Camp in Monaghan with 13 children enjoying a three day camp full of fun activites and GAA games.
Additionally, we had 57 coaches from 18 of our clubs with our Coaching & Games staff acting as Camp Coordinators.
Monaghan Coaching and Games would like to express a huge thank you to everyone who made the our camps an enjoyable and memorable week for the children in attendance. Firstly, to the 21 clubs who hosted a camp and to all the club volunteers who cooperated with our Coaching and Games staff in the months build up to ensure everything ran smoothly. Monaghan Coaching and Games would also like to thank each and every parent who booked their child on a Cul Camp in 2024 and for their cooperation in the mornings and afternoons during drop off and collection to ensure the safety of all the children. Finally, a huge thank you to all our 57 coaches for their hard work during the 7 weeks of camps and making sure each child went home every day with a smile on their face.
