GAA for All Easter Camp 2024

The first ‘GAA For All’ Easter Camp took place on the Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th of March. The Camp Co-Ordinator for the GAA For All Easter Camp was Macayla Greenan. We promoted the camp with posters  to schools, social media, group chats, match-day programmes and through word of mouth.

This two-day camp ran from 11am – 1pm. Due to bad weather, our venue was changed from Cloghan to an indoor venue in Castleblayney College, Sports Hall. Again, we would like to thank Castleblayney College for the use of their excellent facilities.

With 30 children registered, over 20 boys and girls attended on both days. The children took part in various games and activities such as dodgeball, treasure island, parachute, fun relays, matches and much more over the two days.

Thank you to our GAA For All coaches. We were blessed to have such great help over the 2 days with 10 coaches offering a helping hand. Every day, children were greeted with a smile from our coaches, who’s enthusiasm and motivation never failed.

On the first day, each participant received a free turquoise hoodie. On the last day, all children were presented with a GAA For All Certificate. Thanks to Monaghan LGFA player Tara Renaghan for coming and presenting each child with their own certificate.

Light refreshments were served for both parents and children along with friendly chat at the end of the camp. We would like to thank all the parents and children who attended and made this camp possible. Following feedback from coaches, children, and parents was very positive and something we have a great desire to continue in the future.

We plan is to run another GAA For All Camp in the future. As of now, we hope to provide a GAA For All Cúl Camp in the summer with the possibility of a GAA For All Halloween Camp. More information on this will be sent out and shared in due course.
