Santa Claus.

Santa will be visiting Scotshouse Community Centre on Sunday the 17th of December from 3pm to 5pm. All are very welcome. Light refreshments served. The children from St Enda’s school will sing around the Christmas tree together with the Senior choir. The official lighting of the tree will take place after.

A big thank you to all the helpers on Sunday last who put up the tree and decorated the village. Special thanks to Paul & Sean McCaul Declan McCabe, Terry Fay, Pauric & Celine Smyth, Seamus & Sean McQuaid, Fionnuala & Tiernan Kearns, Marie North, Eddie & Eamon Burns, Aidan Rudden, Tegan Smyth & Bella Beattie. and Patrick Connolly. Thanks also to Kieran Moore for supplying the tree.

 

AGM.

Our AGM will be held on the 20th of January in the Community Centre at 8pm. Members will receive correspondence prior to the date. Please forward your nominations back to the Secretary Shauna North. Email address secretary.currin.monaghan@gaa.ie before Monday the 18th of December.

Expression of Interest

The club is currently seeking expressions of interest for the vacant position of Senior Football Manager or Coach for the 2024 Season. Expressions of Interest should be submitted to secretary.currin.monaghan@gaa.ie before Friday 17th December 2023.

Help

If anyone is struggling out there, please reach out to someone. Be it your doctor, a parent, the local Priest or anyone. There is help available, and a problem shared is a problem halved. Please don’t try to cope on your own. Speak to someone no matter how hard this may be.

 

Weekly Walk

Don’t forget our weekly walk on Wednesday night on walking track behind the Community Centre at 8pm. Tea and Coffee served afterwards.

Condolences

Currin Gaa would like to send deepest condolences to the Fay and extended Family on the death of Andrew (White Andy) Cavanreagh Scotshouse who passed away on Sunday last, and to our players Jack, Danny and Sean McQuaid on the passing of their grandfather.

We would also like to send our condolences to the Family of the later Teresa Short Corcummins Clones, who passed away on Friday last.
