Cremartin Healthy Club
Our walking track is open and ready for use at Cremartin Shamrock GAA Centre. The lights will be on from 5.30pm until 9.30pm 7 days a week. This is a great facility for everyone to use so feel free to avail of the fantastic walking track. Everyone welcome!
Sponsorship
We are inviting all interested families who would like to become one of the Main Sponsors of the club for 2023. We now have over 40 families that have joined in the past few weeks. These monies will be going to phase 2 of our development and this is a great way of supporting all the teams and for the future development of our football grounds. O’Neill Shamrocks
Congratulations to O’Neill Shamrocks and Monaghan Ladies player Muireann Atkinson who has secured a 2 year Rookie contract with Collingwood AFLW in Australia. Fantastic news and best of luck to Muireann!
CLAR Programme
Cremartin Shamrocks was visited by Minister Heather Humphreys recently who announced funding to support sports clubs in Monaghan and Cavan. This funding is under the CLAR
Programme with grants of 50,000 Euro going to clubs across the two counties. Cremartin GFC is receiving 50,000 Euro for the completion of the community walking track. Thank you to
everyone involved in welcoming Minister Humphreys to Cremartin and for helping out on the day.

Quiz Night
Well done to Cremartin Shamrocks Senior player David Hanley on organising the hugely enjoyable Quiz Night which was held in Cremartin Shamrocks GAA Centre recently. There was a big
crowd in attendance and great fun was had by all. David is representing Cremartin Shamrocks in the Ballybay Pearse Brothers fundraiser, The Quid Games, which will be taking place in The Glencarn Hotel on Friday 29th December at 8pm. Best of luck David!
Irish Language Classes
Irish language classes are being held in Cremartin’s meeting room every Tuesday at 8pm. This is a great way of learning our national language and a great social night out. If you are interested, please call Sandra Clark on 087 671 0553 or contact any committee member.
Larry’s Christmas Draw

Club Gaeilge Na Bliana 2023
Ulster GAA are now accepting nominations for their Irish language award celebrating Club Gaeilge na Bliana for 2023. This recognises all efforts by clubs, no matter the scale, to promote Gaeilge throughout their communities and in their clubhouses. Referees
It is vitally important that we have referees to ensure our fixtures go ahead in 2024. We are appealing to anyone interested in taking up this role to please contact our club secretary Charlene Tate as we need more people to take up this challenge. Training and support will be provided by Monaghan County Board so why not give it a go
