All Ireland Quarter Final took place last Sunday 3rd Dec in McGovern Park, Ruislip with Sean Treacy’s of London providing the opposition. What an epic performance by our lads in green & gold, 6 points down & 2 minutes of stoppage time, the lads grabbed two goals to force extra time and then went on to win by 12 points! Living on the edge, living on a prayer, call it what you will but the team showed great heart, courage, spirit & skill and dug deep & left all of us supporters in awe of what they had done. Well done boys, next up on the weekend of 16th/17th December is the All Ireland semi-final with the opposition being decided this weekend.
Sponsorship the club is very humbled & deeply appreciative of all the businesses & individuals who have shown us fantastic support by helping to defray the cost of our trip to London at the weekend. We can’t thank you enough for your generosity, and without your support it would have been practically impossible. Thank you so much! As always your support is greatly appreciated.
Supporters merit a mention of their own. A large number of families and individuals made the trip to London at the weekend and joined by friends & families from the London area, made their presence felt. When the going got tough, shouts of ‘Blayney Blayney’ egged on the team and all supporters played a very important part in the team’s progress and ultimate victory. All that support is greatly appreciated, GRMA.
