All Ireland Quarter Final takes place next Sunday 3rd Dec in McGovern Park, Ruislip at 1pm, with Sean Treacy’s of London providing the opposition. It’s a busy time for the team, management & the committee & we urge you to show your support for them all by flying your flags, showing your colours on your house, car or business. We want to wish good luck to the lads themselves, to Kevin, Eddie, Paddy, their backroom team & all associated with the team, we are all behind you and extremely proud of your achievements thus far.

AGM took place in The Ash Room last Friday 24th. All those in attendance were in a celebratory mood, fresh from the Ulster final win the previous Sunday with thoughts of & plans for the upcoming Quarter Final in Ruislip high on people’s minds. Chairman, Paddy McArdle complimented the active sub-committees, the various coaches & teams on their efforts & successes, following a very comprehensive Secretary’s Report delivered by Sheila Forde & the Treasurer’s Report read by Benny Bolger. Children’s Officer, Marisa Duffy was singled out for special mention for her role in chronicling the club’s history which she continues to undertake in a voluntary capacity for the forthcoming year. After the Election of Officers, there was a swapping of a few roles and at this juncture, outgoing Secretary, Sheila Forde, was commended for all her work in her role as secretary, her commitment to the club and matches and her general all-round knowledge of and passion for the game of hurling. The meeting concluded with sympathies extended to all those who had been bereaved during the year & best wishes for Christmas & the New Year.
