Tyholland Club Notes 14.09.2023

Lotto: Last weeks lotto Jackpot of €3,400 was not won! The numbers drawn were 2,13,14,27 and we had 3o 3 match 3 winners this week; Garry Farrelly, Paul Moen, Jeanette Mullen. Universal Graphics Junior Championship: Massive congrats to our Senior men who topped the table and completed their run of group games undefeated after their trip to Blackhill last weekend where they defeated Oram! The Quarter final will be next weekend (24th) with details tbc.

 

Minors: Our Minor men continue training for their next Championship game is at the end of September.

 

U15s: Our U15 boys were defeated by Emyvale last weekend by the narrowest of margins. They will travel to Monaghan Harps on Saturday 23rd for Round 5 in their Championship.

 

U13’s: Our U13 lads are looking forward to their Division 2 Cup final next Sunday. They travel to Blackhill to take on Corduff with a 12noon throw in. We want lots of support for these future stars and wish team and management the best of luck!!

 

U12s: Our U12 team had a great year and made both league and Championship semi-finals narrowly missing out last weekend by a single point against Scotstown. Congrats to team and management on a great year.

 

U11’s: Our U11 team welcomed Emyvale to St. Patricks on Monday night last. A super game was on display.

 

Go Games: This week our U9s will enjoy their second last next round of Go Games! Have fun all.

 

Ladies

 

Senior Ladies: What a super start for our Senior Ladies with another win in their Championship against Aughnamullen last weekend!! This Saturday they have a 6pm throw in against neighbours the Harps at home. Please come out and support our ladies team.

 

U16: The u16 were delighted to learn that they continue in the Division One Shield semi-final on Wednesday 20th away against Killanny. We wish team and management the very best of luck!

 

U14: With no word of a shield competition to date our U14s finished up their Championship last Monday night with a tough game against an older Inniskeen team. Hard luck cailini but well done to team and management on a year full of big developments.

 

Best of luck to all players, mentors and medics for the week ahead. Please come along and support our teams.

 

Club Guardian Programme: Thank you to the families who have signed up so far for our Guardian programme. We will have a permanent display of all who have signed up when our new Gym is completed! We hope that where possible everybody will get behind the club on this next phase of development to continue the growth and success our club has seen in recent years. If you have any questions in the meantime or would like to become part of the programme, please contact our treasurer Maria on 00447739010135 or any committee member.

 

Tyholland Senior Gym: Our Gym is strictly for Senior registered players only. There have been a few incidents of non- members and U18s using the Gym and this is NOT permitted.

 

Tyholland Complex AGM: The Agm of Tyholland Community Complex is taking place tonight (14th) and all our members are welcome to attend. Membership of Tyholland GFC automatically gives you full membership to Tyholland Complex.

 

Field Development: You will all have seen the first of our generous sponsors signs along the newly developed pitch. Get in touch with any committee member to sign up!

 

Tyholland ICA: The ICA ladies are back with their monthly meetings the first Wednesday of each month in the centre. If you are interested in joining up or curious as to what is involved please call Caroline on 087 7949238.

 

Tyholland Bowling Club: Tyholland Bowling Club are starting back up from next Tuesday. New members are very welcome to come along and try it out. It is in the complex hall from 8pm every Tuesday. You can contact Patricia on 047 85098 for more information.

 

Community Centre: The community centre and bar are available for hire for parties,

christening’s, sporting and charity events. Contact the Facebook page to book your event or call 086 8222426 to check availability. The kitchen in the centre is currently being upgraded which will enhance the facilities further.
