Corduff Gaels: Fixtures & Results:

Greenfield Foods Senior Championship:

The Greenfield Foods Senior Championship journey continues as Corduff Gaels Senior team once again created another historic milestone by qualifying for the Senior Championship Semifinal for the first time in the history of the club. Latton was both the venue and the opposition last Sunday. Conditions were far from ideal but the stage was set for the crunch game at 5pm. At this level nothing comes easy so from the throw-in it was a battle of attrition. Corduff got off to the ideal start with a smashing goal and they continued to add to that tally. Latton registered their first score in the 6th minute and likewise they continued to add to their tally but it was Corduff that were ahead by the halftime whistle on a scoreline of 1-3 to 0-5. After the restart Corduff dominated play and the scoreboard until Latton rattled the net in the 12th minute putting the sides level 1-05 each. From here Latton pushed ahead going 2 points up. With every kick as important as the next Corduff once again levelled matters 1-07 each. With time running out it appeared that a draw would be the order of the day but no! Corduff grabbed one last score to win on a scoreline of 1-08 to 1-07 and as they saying goes the rest is history! Congratulations to the team, manager Seamus and his backroom team on this historic win. The quarter finals will be eagerly watched to see who our semifinal opponents will be!

U7 Blitz: Corduff is hosting an U7 Blitz this Saturday @ 10am. Have lots of fun while practising all the skills!

Bogue Foodhall U13 Cup Final:

Once again congratulations to the Corduff U13 team and management on reaching the Bogue Foodhall U13 Division 2 Final last Sunday. The conditions were far from ideal and despite a super effort from the boys Tyholland proved to be stronger on the day. It was a huge achievement on reaching the final and no doubt we’ll see more from this group of boys in the future.

Maguire Transport U17 Championship: Corduff U17s registered an important win over Killanny last Saturday.  Congratulations to team and management. Next up is Aghabog on Sunday 1st October @ 12 noon in Aghabog.

Corduff Ladies :

Gaelic4Mothers&OthersCongratulations to the Corduff Ladies Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others team which represented Corduff at the National G4M&Os Blitz in Dublin last Saturday. A Fantastic day was had by all!
