Corduff Gaels: Fixtures & Results:

Greenfield Foods Senior Championship:

The biggest crowd ever to attend a match in Corduff was in attendance last Sunday for the local Senior Championship derby between neighbouring sides Corduff and Aughnamullen and they weren’t disappointed. Although Aughnamullen dominated the first half registering 2 goals Corduff lads never gave up and after halftime kept narrowing the margin point after point going level for the first time in the 28th minute of the second half. Corduff pushed ahead by another point and it looked as if they had it won when Aughnamullen levelled matters on the final whistle on a score of 0-14 to 2-08. This draw has secured Senior status for Corduff Gaels next year which in itself is a huge achievement. Congratulations is extended to the team and management. Corduff Gaels would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped out in any way to ensure the smooth running of the match. Corduff are on the road again this Sunday away to Latton in the last group stage match. Throw-in @ 5pm. Best wishes to team and management in this crunch match. Hope to see all supporters there.

Bogue Foodhall U13 Cup Final: Massive good luck wishes to Corduff Gaels U13 Division 2 team which is playing Tyholland in the Final this Sunday @ 12 in Blackhill. This is a huge achievement for the team and management to reach the final and it is down to the hard work and dedication of the players and managers all year. So, it’s time to get out the black and amber and head to Blackhill to support these young stars! Hope to see you all there!
