We would ask everyone in the community to support the Club Lotto on a weekly basis online through smart lotto. Now more than ever we need your financial support. You can also drop your envelopes in the post box provided on the Club Grounds. There are envelopes provided at the Club and at Buckley’s Shop. Thank You for your continued support!!

Cremartin Healthy Club

Our walking track is open and ready for use at Cremartin Shamrock GAA Centre. This is a great facility for everyone to use so feel free to avail of the fantastic walking track. Everyone welcome!

Club Membership

Club membership for the upcoming year is now due. It is vital that this is paid to help cover insurance and player injury fund. Therefore, it is essential that all players must be paid up before training sessions begin.

 

Sponsorship

We are inviting all interested families who would like to become one of the Main Sponsors of the club for 2023. We now have over 40 families that have joined in the past few weeks. These monies will be going to phase 2 of our development and this is a great way of supporting all the teams and for the future development of our football grounds. A board will be outside our grounds with all of our sponsors named on it. If you would like to join Friends of Cremartin 300 Club please contact any committee member. CPR Course

Annyalla/Cremartin Community First responders will hold CPR/AED Training on Saturday 26th August in Cremartin GAA Hall at 10am. Contact 086 378 2949 to book a place.

 

50/50 Intermediate Championship Draw

Cremartin GFC is holding a 50/50 Draw for the Intermediate Championship 2023. The poster will be in our social club and tickets are €10 each. You can also put €10 in an envelope with your name on it and you will be entered into the draw. Please put these envelopes in the lotto box located at Cremartin Shamrock Park. Thank you for your support for this draw.

 

Cremartin Seniors

Well done to Cremartin Seniors who beat Clones in the first round of the Intermediate Football Championship last Saturday. It was an excellent start to Cremartin’s Championship campaign. Cremartin- 2-8, Clones- 11 points. Cremartin Seniors next match will see them take on Castleblayney Faughs in the second round of the Championship on Saturday 26th August in Cremartin Shamrock Park at 3.30pm. Cremartin Seniors will also play

Monaghan Harps the weekend of the 9th/10th September & Doohamlet the weekend of the 16th/17th September.

 

Reserves

Big Congratulations to the Cremartin Reserves who beat Sean McDermotts Reserves in the Reserve Football League Division 2B Final recently. Well done to all the players and management for winning the Listinny Cup!

 

Under 17’s

Congratulations to our Cremartin U17’s who beat Sean McDermotts in the U17 Football League Division 3A Cup Semi Final last Monday. Well done to everyone on this wonderful achievement! They now face Aghabog Emmets in the Final on Sunday 20th August at 12pm. Best of luck to all the players and management in the Final!

 

Under 15’s

Cremartin U15’s will take on Killeevan in the first round of the U15 Championship Division 3 on Thursday 17th August in Killeevan at 7pm. They will also take on Latton O’Rahilly GAA Club in the second round of the U15 Championship on Thursday 24th August in Cremartin Shamrock Park at 7pm. Best of luck lads!

 

Under 13’s

Well done to Cremartin U-13’s who beat Currin in the U13 Cup Competition Division 3 Group A Round 2 last Tuesday. They will also take on Sean McDermotts in the third round of the U13 Cup Competition on Saturday 19th August in Cremartin Shamrock Park at 12pm. Best of luck lads!

 

Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others

Monaghan Sports Partnership launch HER Outdoors Week 2023

After the huge success of HER Outdoors Week in 2021 and 2022, it’s back again this August, with lots of different activities and programmes happening across the country. Her Outdoors Week aims to encourage females of all ages to get active in the outdoors, and this year will see Monaghan Sports Partnership launch our biggest ever outdoor activity programme. The activities will include programmes which will run across the full 5 weeks, with also one-off activities happening to celebrate Her Outdoors Week 2023. Activities include Golf, Tennis, Volleyball, Walking, Lawn Bowls, Orienteering, Kayaking, Canoeing, Cycling and many more.

Referees

It is vitally important that we have referees to ensure our fixtures go ahead in 2023. We are appealing to anyone interested in taking up this role to please contact our club secretary Charlene as we need more people to take up this challenge. Training and support will be provided by Monaghan County Board so why not give it a go!
