50/50 Draw There’s always a winner in the 50/50 draw! To get yourself organised for the August draw which takes place this Fri 1st Sept, you can get your entry on the Clubforce link

https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=2767&intMF_ID=7833#Anchor

This provides you with different payment options including setting up a 12 month direct debit subscription paid on a monthly basis which will ensure you are in for every draw.

Alternatively, you can get an entry through REVOLUT to @bbol123 putting your name and contact telephone number in the note. Your support is very much appreciated as this is our primary source of fundraising.

Garda vetting: Castleblayney Hurling Club is committed to the welfare and protection of all our members. As part of this commitment the club requires all coaches, training assistants and volunteers who are associated with our underage teams to comply with the legal requirement to have Garda vetting. Please complete your vetting asap. Any questions, contact Marisa email: childrensofficer.castleblayneyhurling.monaghan@gaa.ie.

Membership is now overdue and this is a reminder to all players that they must be registered prior to playing or training in order to be covered for the Player Injury fund. Link for membership is https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=2271

Referees we are actively encouraging people who have played the game to consider taking up the referee mantle. Without referees our games cannot go ahead, it is a way of giving back to the game

and indeed in staying involved with the GAA family. If you would consider taking up the challenge, contact any committee member who will ensure that you are trained and supported all the way. Give it a go!

Congratulations to Senior player, Steven Lambe who together with his wife Catherine, has just welcomed a beautiful baby girl….a camogie player no doubt!!

Condolences are extended to the McVicar family, Cremartin on the death of their mother, Maimie who passed away last week. Maimie was mother of former player, now deceased, Paddy McVicar, may she rest in peace.

Clothing Collection the club are organising a clothing collection for Saturday 7th October. More details to follow closer to the time but keep this in mind when you are doing your summer clearout!
