Tyholland Club Notes 20.07.2023

Slotto: Our jackpot of €5,600 was not won last week! The numbers drawn were 1,9,13,21 and we had one match 3 winners this week; Congrats to Tony Boyd who has won again through his Clubforce ticket! Eurotech Junior League: Good luck to our Senior men who welcome Eire Og for a home Quarter Final of the League on Tuesday 25th at 7.30. We hope to see lots of support for the men!

 

Minors: A mixed week for our Minor men with a great win over Cremartin last Tuesday followed by a loss against Aghabog on Sunday morning. Good luck to them as they make the trip to Magheracloone on Sunday next.

 

U15s: Good luck to our U15’s who in the semi-final on Thursday away to Truagh. Please support the lads and help bring them to the final!

 

U13’s: Our two U13 boys teams are awaiting confirmation on their Championship which is due to begin this weekend!

 

U11’s: Our U11’s have a challenge game against Clontibret on Thursday. They also look forward to the Liam Stirrat cup which starts on July 29th.

 

Go Games: Thanks to all in Rockcorry for a super blitz last Saturday. This week our U9s have a Monster Blitz in Cloghan. Enjoy everyone!

 

U7’s/U5’s: Training continues for this group every Thursday 6:30pm – 7:30pm. This session caters for boys & girls from 4-9 years of age. New faces are always welcome…. spread the word! Please contact Alan Farrelly 086 3850435 if you have a child who may be interested in attending.

 

Ladies

 

Reserve League: Hard luck to our Senior Reserve ladies who were defeated by Killeevan in the Reserve semi-final last weekend!

 

U16’s: Congrats to our U16 girls who had a great win against Scotstown last Thursday evening. They take on O’Neill Shamrocks on Monday next 24th!

 

U14’s: Hard luck to our U14 girls who despite a great game of football lost out against Monaghan Harps on Monday evening last.

 

U12s: Our U12 girls played Scotstown on Tuesday night past and play Brigid O’Neills this Saturday !

 

Best of luck to all players, mentors and medics for the week ahead. Please come along and support our teams.

 

Club Guardian Programme: Thank you to the families who have signed up so far for our Guardian programme. We will have a permanent display of all who have signed up when our new Gym is completed! We hope that where possible everybody will get behind the club on this next phase of development to continue the growth and success our club has seen in recent years. If you have any questions in the meantime or would like to become part of the

All Ireland Ticket Draw: We have an amazing draw on our socials where you can win 2 tickets for the All Ireland Football or Hurling Final in Croke Park. You can enter through the link on our socials… only €10 per entry folks!

 

Tyholland Senior Gym: Our Gym is strictly for Senior registered players only. There have been a few incidents of non- members and U18s using the Gym and this is NOT permitted.

 

Field Development: You will all have seen the first of our generous sponsors signs along the newly developed pitch. Get in touch with any committee member to sign up!

 

Community Centre: The community centre and bar are available for hire for parties,

christening’s and charity events. Contact the Facebook page to book your event or call 086

8222426 to check availability.

 

Run to Remember Gary Askin: This annual run will take place at 7pm on Friday 4th August in Emyvale GAA grounds. It is always well supported by our club members. This year the proceeds will be donated to the Irish Kidney Association, Monaghan Cardiac First Responders and Errigal Truagh Special Needs group. Please support!

 

County: Congratulations to Karl, Darragh, Vinnie and the whole Monaghan team and management on such a great year of football for our county men and supporters. The game did not go our way last weekend but what a fantastic debut year for our new management. Roll on 2024!!
