Electric Ireland Minor All-Ireland Final:
All roads led to the Athletic Grounds last Sunday for the All-Ireland Minor Final between Monaghan and Derry. A huge crowd of supporters travelled from Corduff to cheer on Fergal, Cian and the Minor team and management. However it wasn’t to be on the day as Derry proved stronger. It has been a super season for this Minor team and they proudly represented Monaghan at the highest level. It was brilliant to have Fergal and Cian on the panel and no doubt we’ll see more from these players in the future.
All-Ireland Semifinal:
This Saturday Monaghan supporters are on the road to Croke Park once again for the All-Ireland semifinal between Monaghan and Dublin. Corduff Gaels extend huge good luck wishes to Vinny, his backroom team and the Monaghan Senior team. It’s wonderful to see the county and beyond decked out in white and blue for the occasion.
Kelloggs Cúl Camp:
Last week 111 boys and girls had a super fun filled week at the annual Cúl Camp. Primary school pupils attended the camp which was an action packed, fun-filled week of activities. The camp was structured in such a way that different aspects and skills of the game were worked on every day. All the participants received a very colourful Cúl Camp kit. Corduff Juveniles extend thanks to Corduff coaches Georgia, Katie, Jamie and Conor plus head coach Paddy McNally who delivered the Camp. Thanks is also extended to Majella Hand who tied up each day and to Patsy McNally and Catherine and Paddy Hand who helped out with the huge volume of traffic each day. Without all these volunteers helping out the smooth running of the Camp wouldn’t be possible. We’re looking forward to next year already!
Cubs And Academy:
The Cubs and Academy training programme continues every Saturday and we look forward to seeing you all again this Saturday.
