Kilmacud Sevens Well done to our Seniors who made it to the semi-final of the Shield at the Kilmacud Sevens on Saturday but lost to Middle East, who eventually went on to win the competition outright. Thanks to management and the lads for representing us so well.

Well done to our U-13’s who overcame Monaghan Harps tonight, Monday, on a score line of Blayney 5-03, Harps 2-05.

Referees we are actively encouraging people who have played the game to consider taking up the referee mantle. Without referees our games cannot go ahead, it is a way of giving back to the game and indeed in staying involved with the GAA family. If you would consider taking up the challenge, contact any committee member who will ensure that you are trained and supported all the way. Give it a go!

Congratulations to Glenn Murphy whose photographic exhibition, FOCUS – a Journey through the Lens, opened in Iontas on Thursday evening last and runs until the end of August. We, like many other clubs & organisations in the area, fully appreciate and enjoy the wonderful moments in time captured by Glenn in matches and at events, not to mention the stunning works from nature. A feast for the eyes, so make sure to go along to Iontas….an event not to be missed. Congratulations again, Glenn!

Clothing Collection the club are organising a clothing collection for Saturday 7th October. More details to follow closer to the time but keep this in mind when you are doing your summer clearout
